How to sell a Transcash ticket you won't use
KartaCash ·
A Transcash ticket is a cash recharge for a Transcash prepaid Mastercard, bought at tobacconists and newsagents mostly in France and Belgium. If you no longer need it — you closed the card, bought one too many, or changed plans — you can turn it back into money. Here's how, and how to make sure it's safe.
Before you sell
- The recharge code must still be unused: once it's loaded onto a Transcash card, the ticket is spent.
- Keep the receipt. It shows where and when the ticket was bought, which helps if anything needs checking.
- Know the country you bought it in. Transcash is sold as one euro option for Europe; you tell us the country.
- The ticket must be yours. If someone asked you to buy it and send them the code, that's a scam — see below.

The Transcash coupon scam
Transcash tickets are one of the favourite payment methods of scammers in France: a fake seller, a fake bank adviser, a fake fine or a fake online partner asks you to buy tickets and send them the codes. Once they have the code, they load it onto their own card within minutes.
Nobody legitimate asks to be paid with Transcash codes. If it already happened, contact Transcash customer service immediately with the receipt — an unused code can sometimes be blocked — and report it to the police. We don't buy tickets obtained that way.
Can I get my money back from Transcash instead?
Transcash tickets are generally not refundable once bought; check the conditions printed on the ticket or on Transcash's site. Selling it is the usual way to recover the value.
Do I need an account or ID?
No. Just an email address to follow your order.
Do you buy PCS and Neosurf too?
Yes, on the same terms. You can even sell them together in one order.
How fast is the payout?
Most orders are paid in about an hour after a person reviews the ticket. Crypto and PayPal arrive in minutes once approved; SEPA usually the same day; Western Union is ready to collect in about 30 minutes.
